The "MySpace" song is still being talked about, of course, I'm talking about the one that Panamanian artist Nando Boom is accusing Wisin and Yandel and Don Omar of plagirizing.

Puerto Rican artists Don omar and Wisin and Yandel are not allowed to leave the country of Panama once they arrive, due to a court order that is prohibiting them from leaving until they appear in court for plagirizing.

"This means that if at any time they enter or transit though Panama, we have direct orders to prohibit them from leaving the country and they must be taken to court on this case".
The precautionary measure is applicable to any of those involved, the prosecutor said. The preliminary hearing against Don Omar and Wisin and Yandel, being brought forth because of the song "Enfermo de Amor", is set for March 16th.

The criminal complaint was filed against the Puerto Rican artists by Nando Boom in 2008 for using part of his song titled "MySpace", in which the authors and singers mentioned on the production credits are Eliel Lin Osorio and Josias de La Cruz.

Attorneys are also investigating Wisin and Yandel for visiting the country last year, where they performed at a concert.

Los cantantes puertorriqueños de reguetón Don Omar y el dúo Wisin & Yandel no podrán salir de Panamá una vez ingresen al país, como consecuencia de una orden judicial que se los prohíbe hasta tanto no respondan en un proceso por plagio, explicó hoy, miércoles, una fuente judicial.

“Es decir que si en un momento dado ellos entraran o transitaran por Panamá, la instrucción debe ser que inmediatamente se les prohíba la salida del país y deben ser conducidos al juzgado que tiene el caso”.
La medida cautelar es aplicable a cualquiera de los implicados, aclaró el fiscal.
La audiencia preliminar contra Don Omar y el dúo Wisin y Yandel por el supuesto plagio de la canción “Enfermo de amor”, del panameño Nando Boom, ha sido fijada para el 16 de marzo próximo.

La demanda penal contra los boricuas fue interpuesta por Nando Boom en 2008 por la utilización de parte de su canción en la producción discográfica “My space”, en la que aparecen como autores los mencionados cantantes así como sus productores Eliel Lin Osorio y Josias de La Cruz.
La Fiscalía ya indagó a Wisin y Yandel cuando estos visitaron Panamá, hace más de un año, para realizar un concierto.
